Welcome to Shelley's Secret World of Confessions and Unspoken Thoughts...

This is where I come to vent... and not be judged. To rant and tell of God's goodness, mercy, grace and love for me. To sing and it doesn't matter who hears me. To grunt and not be chastised. This is my little secret world that I share with the few who stumble upon me. Welcome!

An order for more....

Today, a girlfriend from the North Texas Fibromyalgia Support Group came by and ordered 10 cards... a few birthday, a few Valentines, etc. She said she would order as needed for special occasions. The best "compliment of all" came that she wants me to do her anniversary card! I mean, how much more of a compliment can a stamper get? This was my happiest place today. That, and my husband bought me that new crocidile punch thing-a-ma-bobbie I have been eye'ing for awhile! So, I am ready to sit and "get her done" in the words of Larry the cable-guy!

Also, I was wondering if ANYONE can share with me tools, tips, things they have discovered in their stamping passion? I mean, what gets you going? What colors excite you? What is your favorite gadget? I am on a roll, and ready to keep on keeping on!

Have a good night--- Blessing of today: Isaiah 58:11

  1. Hi Shelly...I find inspiration everywhere! Sometimes I start with a Designer paper that I love...sometimes I start with a stamp....it is allways changing! It evolves & takes on a life of itself! I love making flowers from punches so the punches & tools that I use for this are my favorites. I also love the vintage look so distress inks have become my favs too. I am happy to find another crafty Texan!

  2. Thanks Lisa! I found Hobby Lobby had all their scrap papers on sale last week, half off, so I bought $200 in products--- 14 pads! Today, we went to Best Buy, and I started looking at album/cd covers--- I got so inspired, I started recording my voice messages to myself of some cool things to look for! I find inspiration everywhere, too!
